Kolam-A colourful design is made by saffron flour and wheat flour at the venue where Manapoo has taken place on October 21st 2007 at Sri Ponnambalawaneswarar Temple in Kochchikade, Colombo 13 to welcome the devotees. This colourful Kolam was created by Pratheepan Sharma of Sri Ponnambalawaneswarar Temple.Kolam is considered a mirror of Tamil culture. And Kolams are thought to bestow prosperity to the homes.
